The Thing that Matters More than Time

We’ve all heard the sayings (or some variation of them);

“Time is our greatest resource.”

“Time management is the key to success.”

But what happens when you have the time and feel completely exhausted?

What’s the point of having more flexibility or time in your life if you can’t enjoy it?

That’s where energy management comes in.

Knowing what drains you, what fills your cup, and what has a neutral impact matters.

When you say yes to something you aren’t just looking at your calendar for empty space, you’re looking at the energy you have available.

No matter how exhausted I am, there are some people and things that I still make time for. Sometimes it is out of devotion or love, sometimes it is because that person or activity fills my cup, and sometimes it comes from a place of commitment.

No matter the why, I know I’m making an informed decision to say yes to using my time and energy.
